The meeting was attended by elected members of the council body including chairman elect Tuku Manai (Goilala), vice chairman Linus Akaina (Mekeo LLG, Kairuku), Secretary Faustina Doboi (Kuni LLG, Kairuku) and treasurer George Avada (Cloudy Bay LLG, Abau), and two district community development officers Madlyn Poia (Goilala) and Luciano Mekeo (Abau).

The executive meeting sets out the pathway in outlining formal implementation plans to be implemented across the province.

The meeting unraveled important agendas in formulating a 61 Day plan for November to December to start implementing vital programs for youths in the entire five districts across the province for the remaining part of the fiscal year.

The meeting has also unraveled other key priority agendas in having the provincial youth council draw up a 5-YearDevelopment Plan 2027- 2032 and the Annual Implementation Plan for 2027.

Mr. Peter told the executive council members to start rolling out youth data collection in all 288 wards and 16 LLGs across the five districts in the province to structure the 61 Days Plan and the 5-Year Development Plan for the Central Province Development Youth Council.

He urged them to communicate directly with LLG and district youth councils to conduct the Youth data collection for the entire province.

He said the data will formulate the five-year plan, and the Annual Implementation Plan for 2027 to be submitted to the Provincial Executive Council for budget allocation to implement programs across the entire province.

He commended the madam Governor Rufina Peter to initiate the formation of the youth council, and LLG, district and the provincial level to strengthen the delivery of programs for young people.
