Digicel Pacific has announced that Mr. Tarik Boudiaf will step down as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Digicel Papua New Guinea after nearly two years in the role, to return to France to be with his family.
In a statement, Roary Stasko, CEO of Telstra International, acknowledged the company’s ongoing commitment to the country, saying Digicel PNG continues to play a vital role in connecting communities nationwide.
“Digicel PNG plays an important role in connecting people across the country,” Stasko said.
“Our focus remains firmly on serving our customers, supporting communities, and contributing to the economic development of Papua New Guinea. We remain committed to providing reliable connectivity and services that matter to the people of PNG.”
Digicel Pacific confirmed it will begin the process of recruiting a permanent successor to the position. In the meantime, Brett Goschen, Chief Financial Officer of Digicel Group, will assume the role of acting CEO to ensure continuity of leadership and ongoing business operations.
