Lae Biscuit Company has donated 90 cartons of biscuits and noodles to Buk Bilong Pikinini at Lae Showground to help replace stolen learning equipment.
The donation was made by Lae Biscuit Managing Director Ian Chow after the school suffered a break- and- enter earlier this year.
Items stolen included laptops, tablets, a speaker, and the school’s power meter, affecting digital learning activities for children.
The donated food items will now be sold to help raise funds to buy new learning gadgets.
Head librarian Ruth Malum thanked Lae Biscuit for supporting the school during a difficult time.
She said the support has brought hope to teachers, parents and students as they work to rebuild the learning environment.
